A rotating angle finder to adjust the viewing angle while providing a full
screen image with built-in diopter adjustment.
For all EOS (except A2/A2E). Attaching the rotatable Angle Finder B lets you
adjust the viewing angle while providing a full screen image that also shows
exposure data. Provided with built-in dioptric adjustment for variations in
eyesight. Provides a viewing lens at right-angles to the camera eyepiece. Useful
for low-angle photography, and shooting with the camera on a copy stand. Rotates
for vertical and horizontal format shooting. Gives an upright image, the correct
way round, for convenient composition. When used with EOS 5 or EOS 50 this
finder requires use of the Canon Adapter Ed for Angle Fnder B. It can be used
with the F-1 cameras and it has an adapter to use it with the AE-1, AE-1
Program, A-1 and other A Series Canons. Also fits older Pentaxes (KM, KX, K2,
etc.). Square adapter is removable to aollow use on Canons with circular
viewfinder.
Eye control don't work no longer with an angle finder adapted.

Canon information (literature from the days when the 10s WAS a current model)
states the Angle finder B fits the 10s with no adapters (actually they say it
fits ALL EOS bodies, which at the time were the EOS-1, 10s,
Rebel(S),630,620,650,RT,700,750 and 800). There is no mention of any adapter in
this literature. Later literature says an adaptor (Ed) IS needed for the
A2/ElanII.
As far as Canon's EOS System brochure states that the angle finder B will work
with all EOS cameras with the exception of the A2/A2E, Elan II/IIE, IX, IX Lite.
Canon changed viewfinder sizes with cameras giving ECF. Any pre-ECF Canon body
should accept the angle finder b without the Adapter ED.
It was replaced (?) with Adapter Ed II to accept additionally EOS 5, 50(E), 3,
IX(7).
